2026-05-26 Klebelsberg exhibition opening at Klebelsberg Castle in Budapest

Painter Rita Sonkodi also brought the chamber exhibition material from her exhibition entitled Klebelsberg and His Era to Budapest. This exhibition opened in the most worthy place, in the Pesthidegkút home of Count Klebelsberg Kuno, Minister of Religion and Public Education, and his only wife after death, Countess Sarolta Botka, on May 26, 2026. The opening took place in the winter garden of the castle before a performance about Klebelsberg by the Szeged National Theatre. At the opening, the creator, painter Rita Sonkodi, and the director of the Castle, Péter Szollár, spoke about the exciting story of Klebelsberg and the Castle's heritage and their personal connection.
