Paintings of the "Life of Mary Cycle" in Makó

My permanent exhibition opened on August 17, 2021, at 5:00 PM in the Korona Hotel (Ground Floor, Korona Conference Centre), which serves as the Makó station of the pilgrimage route titled "The Way of Pearls" (Igazgyöngyök útja). My Mary series, inspired by the poems of Rainer Maria Rilke's cycle "The Life of Mary" (Das Marien-Leben), is housed within the renovated Korona Hotel building. At the opening ceremony, actress Eszter Nagy-Kálózy recited excerpts from the poem cycle, and folk singer Mária Petrás also performed. The exhibition was officially opened by Mayor Éva Erzsébet Farkas.
